On behalf of Strawberry Homes, we would like to sincerely thank you for the service provided during the early hours of Tuesday 28th June for our short stay.
We are a house moving company and our Transport team work long arduous hours in sometimes freezing conditions. To come back to a warm motel with heaters on and electric blankets on was a god send. The team were also very appreciative of coming back for a cooked breakfast with very little wait.
The service you have displayed was impeccable and very appreciated. Strawberry Homes will have no hesitation staying with your establishment again and referring you if and when the need arises.

Your hospitality was awesome, lynda u also shared some recipes with us but have fogotten
ingredients for the lamb shank recipe. I would appreciate if u could send me the recipe very much.
Back to work now....still on cloud nine...remembering our wonderful n.z memories &
wonderful people who made our stay sooo.....awesome. thank you both again.

We had to spend an unexpected night in Taupo due to my husband having
a sore back from traveling. Another motel suggested Gables, and we are
so pleased they did. We arrived early and the owner
made a room available to us straight away. The rooms are big and
comfy and the mattress was supportive for a great nights sleep.The
private spa is an added bonus - absolutely perfect. The price is very
reasonable and the location can't be beaten. The best thing of all
are the owners - helpful and friendly. We won't hesitate coming back
here again or recommend to other people. Thanks for a great stay.

Great spot by the lake and swimming beach. Very helpful at reception. Bit dated inside but loved the spa pools.

OK stay. Great location but dated rooms. Spa pool in unit is great. Didn't appreciate having to pay an extra $20 each for my two sons (aged 6 and 7), but it was a last minute booking.

Beautiful views from our room, loved the hot tub. Had parking outside room the first night but not the next night, although owner was kind enough to let us park our motorbike in their garage.
